We express the Gospel through serving and loving our community
God Loves the City. Being His Mercy and Living His Gospel There.
ABOUT US
Mercy City Church (MCC) is a community church
The name Mercy City Church is a blueprint for our vision: Mercy is the means of expressing the Gospel. City is the mandate for who and where the church will focus. Church is the meaning behind why we exist. All these characteristics point to how we support the physical, social, and spiritual needs of others. As a local church, we are actively engaged the community. The focus of everything we do is to build relationships.

Our Community
The Dawes Road corridor in Toronto is home to an eclectic mix of families from different socio-economic backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures. Although signs of gentrification are happening, the community still remains a relatively unchanged pocket of the inner city of middle to lower-income homes. Identifying the needs of this diverse community is a challenge, but also an opportunity for the church to be a meaningful presence and have real purpose. This is a great community with good hard working families. Though there is great disparity among people, there is a common need for the Gospel to take root there.
Partnership
MCC is mainly supported through outside support since our families are not able to contribute significantly. We have always been blessed with generous givers who believe in the work we are doing and come along side us financially. If you have an interest you can donate to MCC online. We are grateful for any support that is received. All notations are tax deductible through the Evangelical Free Church of Canada.
